Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
